Here ye, here ye! LAW updates are coming!
How close is too close? Updates to melee combat mechanics.
They say keep your friends close but your enemies closer. Unfortunately, we took that to heart. Previously, melee units shared the same space creating an accurate fighting system, but making it difficult to see you slay(yyyyy) your enemies.
We’ve updated the distance between melee units from 0 to 1. This means that your armies will attack in an adjacent cell instead of piling into one. I swear it’s not you, just proper game aesthetics…
Siege the day! Update to battle mechanics.
How do you measure the progress of your battle? Is it the blood on your sword? Is it the shrill cry of your enemies? Is it how numb your legs are from sitting at the edge of your seat?
These are all good metrics, no doubt. However, we at LAW thought we needed a more quantitative approach. That’s why we’ve added Siege Towers!
Siege Towers measure your progress when capturing a city. This lets the attacking force and defending city know how close a city is to being conquered!
Free our Heroes! New building added!
You get what you pay for (usually). Luckily, we’ve found a few generous historical heroes willing to help your armies fight pro bono. We’ve added a Hero Tower to the game which allows you to hire one hero for free per city.
